This is the 4th updated version of my character modeling, The Monkey King. "Sun Wukong" or the Monkey King , is perhaps the most famous and beloved fictional character in all of classic Chinese literature. He is the main character of "Journey to the West", a story dating back to the Tang dynasty. I think it can be considered as the Chinese version of Lord of the Ring.

I modeled the base mesh in Maya, then passed it to Mudbox for detailing and normal map. The texture map was painted in Photoshop. Thank you for looking, hope you will like it. Your crit/comments are most welcome!
